The list

Here is the ever growing list of all of the things that I want to do on my journey to completing my overall challenge.

Each of the things on this list will go towards the big fundraiser which is number one on my list, the 50k for 50 years challenge! As you'd expect, the common theme here is 50 and whilst some of them are big and some are small, everything is another tick on the list to hit the big five-o.

I would also like to say a big thank you to my friends and family who have volunteered to help me achieve some of these goals!!

Start date: February 11th 2017.

End date: April 12th 2021.

The main goal is to raise raise £50k for Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. I think it will be nice to carry one the 50 theme throughout the various challenges, so here is the list.

1. Learn and make 50 new puddings and cakes.

2. Learn to run long distance with the aim to complete 50k race, with the help of my running app (I'd love to have a professional runner help with training!).

3. Loose 50lbs in weight (without joining a slimming group).

4.  Learn to touch type, with the help of Jill Clark. 

5. Learn to sing, preferably an Irish song, with the help of Fiona Heakin.  

6. Read 50 classic books, with suggestions from David Fisher.

7. Play a song that I have learnt on the guitar, with the help of Charlotte Hancock.

8. Learn to read music.

9. Learn 50 Gaelic words.

10. Learn more computer skills, with the help of Christopher Fisher.

11. Learn to sew and make a dress.

12. Write a book.

13. Learn to do push ups properly, with an end goal 50 in one hit for 50 days.

14. Make 50 new puddings or cakes with various friends and family. 

15. Organise a charity event in 2020, more details to come.

16. Cook 50 new fish dishes.  

17. Shear a sheep 😄

18. Increase my excel skills.

19. Change a tyre.

20. Learn short hand.

21. Learn to cart wheel, with an end goal of 50 in row.

22. Learn to swim properly (front crawl), with an end goal of doing 50 lengths. 

23. Learn house hold plumbing 101, with the help of Daniel Fisher.

24. Learn to draw or paint a picture.

25. Learn to knit, with the help of Karen Winsall.

26. Learn to Irish dance.

27. Learn to play darts properly.

28. A Marathon in a different country.

29. Ride London in 2018 or 2019.

30. Learn 50 words in sign language.

31. Personally donate money to charity each month for 50 months.

32. Triathlon.

33. Learn to dive.
