A real crowd pleaser
I'm always thinking about how I'm going to do all these tasks, but for now I'm going to keep on going strong with the baking. Then I will start on another challenge from my list.
In other news, I am in the middle of book number two on my list still and trying to keep up my push up challenge - but there's definitely room for improvement. It's been a while since I've learnt a new skill and it's easy to forget that it takes a while to perfect these things!
I'm really enjoying making an end product. For the last 10 years I've worked for the same company in credit control. While the buzz of collecting payments is great, it's short lived. So actually making something is so much better. Unfortunately this doesn't pay the bills, but I think with some time and effort this new skill will definitely help boost my fundraising.
No 12. Strawberry meringue.
Now with fifteen plus meringues under my belt I can confidently (and quite literally!) whip one up in advance for when we have a family lunch. Over the years I have witnessed two close friends showcase their pavalovas for a big get together. They have always looked great and always been admired, both for looks and taste. When praised for their achievements it was always the same comment, " Oh it's so easy anyone can do this!".
Of course, I didn't believe them as they are modest ladies and not ones to brag about their achievements. But now I know they were so right, so ladies, thank you!
It really is easy and the end results looks great. For those of you that want to give a pudding a go, this is a great place to start and I highly recommend it. It's quick and if you just follow the recipe you will be ok. I followed a Nigella recipe which was very user friendly.
For my dear friends and family who have been baking for years, once again I ask you to be patient with me and my new discovery of baking whilst I catch up. You are my inspiration for this task. 💕
